Etta's medical expenses

Hello! My name is Kathy and my niece Adri and her husband Zak just had their first baby, however, Etta was born on Dec 27 not breathing even though there was a heartbeat just minutes prior to the birth. They were able to bring her back to life and we are so grateful! However, intubation, brain swelling, and seizures racked her little body for the first few days of her life. The amazing team of doctors and nurses at Bronson were able to get the swelling to go down, the seizures to stop and get her to breathe on her own. Now the team is working to get her to learn how to suck so she can start eating without a feeding tube.

This all happened just days before the New Year, and she is still in the NICU, medical bills are looming. Meeting two deductibles, out of pocket expenses, and continued medications and care are daunting for Zak and Adri. Like many new parents, they spent time and resources preparing their home for Etta’s arrival. Additionally, they are trying to spend as much time with Etta as they can. Zak is back to work full time and Adri is taking care of Etta in the hospital.

Although the Krolewicz’s need is great, they are so grateful for all your prayers, fasting, and meals. Etta is a true miracle. They feel they cannot adequately express their love and gratitude for all of you. They are hesitant to ask for monetary assistance. Their close family and friends feel this is an opportunity for others to show their love and support in a very practical way and so they have agreed.

All of the money donated, except for GoFundMe fees, will go to help Adri and Zak pay for the mounting medical bills and costs associated with being in the hospital as well as ongoing care of Etta's needs.
