I a survivor of COVID-19. I was hospitalized after struggling to breathe and running a temperature of 104. I had no strengh to walk. I was so weak I could barely hold anything in my hand. I fell seriously ill to COVID-19. When I got to the hospital the doctor said I was touching death. I was immediately put on a ventilator and stayed on it for 14 days. My  x-ray results showed I had pneumonia. The pneumonia was attacking my lungs and I also started to have kidney failure. My lungs and kidneys took a hard hit from the virus. After being exubated I woke up and didn’t know what hit me, I was so confused. I am blessed to have survived COVID-19 I am thankful to be alive although I beat coronavirus I still cannot walk. The virus left my body very weak. I have to take physical and speech therapy to help me regain my speech and my strength. I cannot leave the house for at least three months because my immune system is still very weak. I am unable to work and I do not qualify for the unemployment. I need help and I need it now.
