It’s crazy to think that almost 3 years ago, my life changed with one diagnosis: SLE (Systemic Lupus Erythematosus).
For Lupus Awareness Month, I’m raising funds together with the Lupus Foundation of America’s "Make Your Mark" program for lupus research and to help with my current and future medical expenses and procedures.
To be honest, the duality of living with a chronic illness still shocks me!
Lupus has not only affected my health; it tests my resilience and adaptability every day. It has also shown me the profound impact of empathy, support, and understanding in every aspect of life.
Together, we can raise money and support the global and local efforts to improve the quality of life for all people like me who are affected by lupus! Let’s make this invisible illness visible!
