Support for the Walsh Family

Anyone who knows Jeff and Brittany knows how wonderful and kind they are. If you've met Jeff, you know no words could do justice to how much of an amazing person he is. Jeff and Britt both always go out of their way to help others, and now it's our opportunity to support them.

On September 2, Jeff went to the ER due to difficulty breathing. His health quickly worsened and he was immediately admitted to the ICU and diagnosed with severe lung infection and inability to breathe on his own. As a result, he was put on a ventilator and med flighted to Boston where he spent 7 days in a medically-induced coma while intubated. Jeff’s wife, Brittany, and his entire family were by his side the entire time praying he would make it through his ordeal.

After a terrifying week, Jeff thankfully began to stabilize and make small improvements each day, giving everyone hope that he would survive. After two weeks in the hospital he was finally able to breathe on his own and miraculously began improving. It was Jeff’s fighting spirit and will to survive for Brittany, Declan and Bridget that got him through this.

Jeff is now home and recovering but still has a long road ahead of him. As you can imagine, the medical bills will be astronomical. Jeff will also need to take time off from work as he continues to recover. With a 3-month-old baby and a toddler, the family has a lot to manage on a regular basis, and this adds a whole other level of stress that we hope to help alleviate. Jeff and Britt are always the first ones to show up for others, and we hope we can show them how much we love them.

So many have reached out to the family about ways they can help, and this is the most impactful way we can all help out the Walsh Family.
