Jaycee was just diagnosed with Long Term Covid. She is needing to start the treatment plan quickly and it will be an intense couple of months for her as she hopefully heals her body once and for all. 

Below I've had Jaycee send me a more in-depth description of what the last 3 years have looked like leading to this point but we are just so thankful to finally have answers. Jaycee's heart is by far the biggest thing we are needing healed from this treatment and have full faith it will be completely restored in 2-3 months. The hardest part is that everything has to be paid for out of pocket and is not covered by insurance. As many of you know I have been battling heart complications along with other health issues for the last 3 years. I have been to more than 6 different doctors and even tried homeopathic solutions to cure my body and heal it from whatever was making me sick but have never been able to. Each doctor I had gone to was unable to determine exactly what was causing the symptoms and would try to treat just one problem at a time. None of them ever tried to look at the overall big picture, yet each doctor discovered a piece of the puzzle that was detrimental to finally solving my mystery illness.

Fast forward to February 2023 and I finally have my answer. I have been suffering for the last 3 years from LONG TERM COVID. It’s a very long story and if you want to know the details, I will lay it all out for you down below, but the short story is that all the symptoms I have been experiencing stem from me having COVID in December of 2019 and then again in September of 2021. The reason I haven’t been able to overcome it yet is we needed all the pieces to be discovered in order to put the puzzle together and Gods timing could never have been more perfect.

TREATMENT PLAN:

The treatment for LT COVID is not studied by most functional medicine doctors and many of them don’t diagnose it or even think it is a real thing. LT COVID is only now becoming a more common diagnosis as doctors and scientist study COVID and the people who seem to have complications compared to those that don’t. The treatment plan is a protocol that has been developed by those that have been studying its effects. If you want more info on LT COVID, you can read all about it on www.FLCCC.net. The protocol involves supplements targeting your specific symptoms (in my case those are migraines,

COVID induced Tachycardia, COVID induced anxiety and restlessness, slow muscle recovery, and COVID induced hypertension), IV Therapy, and some powerful meds that will kick the spiked Proteins in my body to the curb. The IV’s will be 2x a week for 4 weeks to start, and I will be on supplements and meds for 2-3 months. The only downside to all of this is that treating LT COVID s considered experimental medicine and is not covered by insurance… Between gas to travel to and from Omaha (about 1 hr. and

15 min each way 2 times a week minimum), the supplements and meds, doctor visit expenses, and the IV’s we are looking at about $8000 out of pocket expenses. When I heard that number I had absolutely no idea how we would make it work, but I felt such a peace in my heart, and I KNOW somehow

someway God will provide!!!

THE LONG VERSION OF THE STORY:

In December of 2019 I was 5 months pregnant with Zane. I had gotten extremely sick and when I went to the doctor I tested negative for everything. This was before COVID was even on our radar. Bryson and

Warren were also sick at that time. Up until that point in my pregnancy I was having no complications with my heart rate or blood pressure. Zane’s pregnancy was my easiest out of the 3 up until a few weeks following me being sick. That is when my heart rate increased drastically, and my blood pressure went through the roof. A few short weeks later they ended up inducing me because Zane was in distress. Zane was born March 16 th , 2020, right before COVID caused the world to shut down. My blood pressure and

heart rate were still extremely high when they sent us home, but they were more worried about getting us out of the hospital before the COVID cases got any worse.

My first appointment after having Zane was 6 months later and the doctor discovered why I had been so sick since his delivery. My heart rate and blood pressure had never gone down. I was also suffering from extreme anxiety like symptoms (had been off antidepressants for 5 years at this point and these symptoms were different than regular anxiety symptoms). They decided to put me back on Zoloft anyway to treat the anxiety and started running a bunch of tests on my heart. They discovered that I had an arrhythmia (to this day have yet to be able to pinpoint exactly what kind of arrhythmia), a heart murmur, tachycardia, and hypertension. They ended up implanting a loop recorder in my chest to monitor the electrical activity in my heart but we still couldn’t figure out what was causing it. After multiple appointments with different doctors and specialists I reached out to a homeopathic doctor in

Illinois. She started me on many different supplements that helped ease my symptoms but it still wasn’t enough. I then added essential oils into the mix and this further helped reduce the symptoms yet we

had no definitive answers as to why I was still so sick.

In September of 2021 I had COVID again. A few months later my blood work came back elevated indicating I had a blood clot somewhere. The doctor rushed me over to Urgent Care to get scans done but they were unable to find any clots but was still elevated in blood draws since then too. One of the

symptoms of LT COVID is microscopic blood clots (which is why they could never find them). The symptoms continued to be suppressed slightly yet ever present which brings us up to when we moved

to Nebraska. A few weeks after being in Nebraska God led us to Life.Church Omaha. There is where I met Allison who just so happens to be my long lost twin (not really but the amount of stuff we have in common is scary, even our husbands agree). We hit it off immediately and it was over a coffee date while she was sharing her testimony that the puzzle pieces started to fall in line and God started to reveal answers through her

to me concerning my mystery illness. She referred me to her doctor and that is where we glued the pieces together to complete the final picture. Long Term COVID. Not only did God divulge the answers I had been praying for the last 3 years he also brought along with it someone who understands exactly what I am going through because she too is undergoing the same treatment plan (altered slightly) for her LT COVID! God is so good and I couldn’t be more thankful for his timing and deliverance.
