My name is Aleh, and for many years now, I’ve quietly dreamed of owning a Taylor guitar.
While I already have guitars and could eventually save up for one, I’ve always hesitated—partly because it feels like a big indulgence, and partly because I tend to prioritize everything (and everyone) else first. But there’s something deeply personal about owning an instrument that’s truly yours—especially when it carries the energy and support of those who believe in you.
Music has been part of my life for as long as I can remember. Playing guitar is my way to slow down, reflect, express myself, and recharge. It brings me a quiet kind of joy—something real and grounding in the middle of busy days. I’ve made the most of simpler instruments over the years, but a Taylor has always felt like a distant, aspirational “someday.”
This year, for my birthday, I’ve decided to finally take a small step toward that dream. I’m not asking for gifts or anything extravagant—only that if my story resonates, and if you feel moved to contribute, you’re more than welcome to be part of it. Whether it’s $5 or just good wishes—it all means something.
A Taylor guitar isn’t just a beautiful instrument—it would be a symbol of creative freedom, community, and support. Something I’ll play for years to come, and think of the people who helped make it real.
Thank you for reading—and for being part of my life.
— Aleh
