Ethikli, the only worker-owned, vegan grocery store in Long Beach, is seeking your support to expand community programming this summer. Your support will help us expand our services, like:
- Implementing a sliding scale payment program that gives permanent discounts to people who need help paying for groceries. The program offers discounts to people making below the median income in our area, People of Color, LGBTQ+ people, and those who are trying to change their diet due a health condition, and others.
- Hosting educational workshops on how to transition to vegan and sustainable diets.
- Doing more community outreach through farmer's markets and other local events.
- Investing in new products for our inventory, created by local vendors.
All we need to expand our offerings is a little bit of funding this summer. Any amount you give will be leveraged to make a huge difference. Thank you.
