My mom, Ethel Quiachon Conte, left this world in peace on February 14, 2021 in the presence and love of my sister, Dominique and I.

She was diagnosed with stage 4 breast cancer in 2016. We almost lost her then, but she stayed strong and fought hard for my sister and I. She continued fighting through chemo always bringing a positive attitude no matter how bad it got. It looked like she was in the clear, but came down with an infection recently and didn’t make it through this time.

She was both mom and dad for us and always worried for our well being in case she ever left. She was always selfless and so caring. She spent the last 5 years making sure my sister and I were stable and ready and finally let go on Valentine’s Day. Her fight is over and she can rest knowing my sister and I will be okay on our own.

Many have reached out and offered help for my sister and I and we greatly appreciate your love and support. We’ve prepared mentally and emotionally, but are nowhere financially ready. This fundraiser is for her funeral services.
