Ethan’s vision care

Our friend Ethan sustained a catastrophic eye injury while fishing this summer in Upstate NY. Our wonderful , sweet, joyful young man of just 12 years was simply enjoying a warm summer afternoon with friends hoping to catch “the big one” when he was injured. He was pulling on a snagged fishing line when his rig snapped back striking him directly in the eye. Since then Ethan has endured a handful of vision appointments, which most recently declared him blind in one eye. He will be heading to Boston to receive treatment in hopes of regaining vision, and quickly returning to the activities he loves. As expected, this degree of treatment will require extensive travel, lodging and an abundance of medical expenses. This kind, hardworking family is appreciative of the support they have and will receive through this challenging time.
