On March 18, 2026, Ethan was riding his bike home on Blueberry Hill Road in Taos, New Mexico, when he was run off the road by a grey or white hatchback. The driver of the hatchback came around a corner in Ethan’s lane and ran him off the road, where he then crashed. The hatchback did not stop to check if he was okay. The vehicle behind the hatchback pulled over and called 911, and Ethan was airlifted via helicopter to UNM Trauma Center in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
As of April 12, he has been through many surgeries and procedures in hopes of saving his leg. He has missed out on many days of work and will not be able to return to his job for many months, as long as everything is a success. The bills are racking up and his family is doing everything they can to help him move back with his dad in Clayton, New Mexico. He is a very sweet soul and we hope he makes a full recovery. Any help catching up with bills or prayers is greatly appreciated to help our family.
