To everyone who loves Ethan and those who have a heart for the adopted….
Ethan was adopted from Guatemala at the age of 8 months. He has an amazing smile, witty jokes and incredible compassion. We’ve seen him work hard at his job and in sports. He is smart and insightful, and best of all, he gives great hugs.
Ethan is also, angry, destructive, ungovernable, impulsive and unforgiving.
As, parents of 9 other children, we have worked hard with God’s strength to teach him to know God, equip him with Godly character and help him to reach his potential. Ethan does not come from the same advantage as our other biological children. He has root pain and unforgiveness toward his birth mom, chemical imbalances and fears. We have reached a point, as parents, where the methods of help we have been using are not achieving a positive outcome. His behavioral, emotional and spiritual health are on a very destructive path. His choices in friends, attitude and actions are causing him further pain and destruction. We have saturated and explored all viable options toward helping Ethan and now through months of prayer and council, we have determined that sending him to Ozark teen challenge is the best way to help him during his last year of youth. This residential program specializes in helping adopted teen boys, with behavioral issues. The program has an 80% success rate in helping boys on to a better path. We believe this program will be an essential part of helping Ethan to be mentally and spiritually healthy and to live out the plans that God has for his future.
In support of Ethan, we are seeking both prayer and financial help toward this goal.
