Ethan's DTS funds

Hello my name is Ethan Sterley, I have been in Netherlands for the past year now and have been going through a tough time in my life being isolated due to covid. For a couple of months now God has been laying Youth With A Mission on my heart and a desire to do things for Him, to put my faith into works. God has opened up a door for me and has called me to go to YWAM (youth with a mission). I have been accepted at YWAM Orlando to go do my DTS (Discipleship Training School) in the fall starting October 2021.

My expectations going into this would be to deepen my relationship with God and to be able to share the gospel to people that have never heard the name of Jesus. I want to be challenged and pushed out of my comfort zone and I thinkYWAM would be the best place for that.

DTS is a 5-6 month program, it is split into two, lecture phase and outreach phase.

Lecture phase is a time where we spend our time in our community and getting to know God.

Outreach phase is where a team and I travel to another country and our focus is to make God known and to share our faith with the people that we interact with and to follow God in our lives.

I want to invite you to partner with me by donating no matter how small the amount. I know a lot of christians are not able to leave their life behind and go into the mission field but i am fortunate enough to be in a position where I can do that and I believe that by donating is a big part of helping to do missionary work.

Here is a breakdown of why my goal is $10,000

Campus phase: $3,895

Outreach phase: $4,795

That comes to a total of $8690 however since I live in the Netherlands I need to buy a ticket to America and then afterwards I would have to buy another to come back to the Netherlands.

I truly feel like God has laid YWAM on my heart now more than ever and that this is my time to go out and follow God and it’s time for me to go make Him known.
