Ethans battle with brain cancer

In early November, my precious 13 year old nephew Ethan was brought in to cheo. It was immediately discoved he was suffering from a large tumor growing on the stem of his brain! My family's life went upside down in the matter of minutes. Within days we had him in emergency surgery to relieve some pressure off the brain, the surgery was going well up untill the last few hours, where his brain was starting to swell to where they had to stop. They were able to get a biopsy of the tumor and in fact it was a form of cancer called mudullablastoma. Once he became stable they went in a second time, as this was life of death. Thankfully Ethan pulled through and they indeed got most of the tumor. The surgery left ethan in a vulnerable state, with 6 weeks of radiation and about to start 6 months of intense chemo. Since he was admitted he has been through 5 additional surgery's one including a shunt because hes not capable of draining the fluid surrounding the brain. This week he is heading for another surgery to have a tracheotomy placed because the tumor left some damage where he has difficulties with his breathing. Ethan is also suffering with something called posterior fossa, it has left him in a semi coma where he is unable to use the  fuctions that are necessary for him to walk, talk, and move. My sister kristen has not left Ethans side since November. Kristen is  Ethans sole provider, in these difficult times the last thing i want want her to worry about is her finances and how she will make it. All funds will go directly to her to help relieve the finacial burden aswell as make all necessary accommodations to have Ethan return home safely. Anything helps including a like, share or prayer.
