Hi, my name is Ethan and on the 23rd of March I’m running for 24 hours to raise money and awareness for family domestic violence. On average, one woman a week is murdered by her current or former partner, with an average of 15 women per week being hospitalised due to family and domestic violence in 2021/22. I believe this is an indicator of a larger cultural issue here in Australia. I’m not perfect, and I’m certainly no expert, but I hope to start conversations about how we can better treat the women in our lives, and hopefully prevent future acts of violence.

All money raised will be donated to a Mandurah based organisation(s) which is helping to change the narrative around FDV
