Ethan's Medical Fund

Donation protected
Hi Friends and Family,

My nephew, Ethan, fell very ill recently. When he wasn't getting better, we took him to see his doctor. Upon running tests they rushed Ethan to Sutter Children's Hospital in Sacramento.

Ethan's red blood cell count is dangerously low. They have yet to find a diagnosis for Ethan, it could be a variety of things at this point, most of them pretty scary. The steroids that they are giving him are interfering with his Diabetes and they are having a difficult time keeping his levels normal and it's extremely taxing on his body.
Ethan has had one blood transfusion so far and will most likely have to have another.

They think at this point that they will be there for three months. Over the next three months they hope that whatever is going on is some kind of crazy one time infection they hopefully can treat. If Ethan doesn't start to improve over the next three months they will start more invasive testing to try and pin point the diagnosis.

Ethan's mom,  my sister in law, Brandy, just underwent serious surgery herself and is still recovering. Given that she will have to stay with Ethan for at least the next three months without working, they are in dire need of help.  Any small amount you can manage would really help their family.  They need money for food, lodging, gas back and forth, monthly bills, etc. They have 3 other children and of course are incredibly scared right now. Any little bit of financial stress we can help alleviate may allow them to focus a little more on their family during this time. Thank you for reading this and thank you for any help you can provide!
