The Tragic Loss of Ethan Ross
Donation protected
My name is Jodie and I have started this fundraiser to help the family of Ethan Ross with funeral and final expenses as they mourn his loss.
On the morning of August 14, 2025 Ethan tragically lost his life, in a motor vehicle accident near Kitscoty Alberta, at the tender age of 22.
Ethan worked hard his entire life to overcome health issues and obstacles in his way. His life was just beginning. Ethan was a hard worker, compassionate and dedicated to always being a wonderful human. He would give the shirt off of his back and expect nothing in return.
Sadly, the tragic accident was put on social media for the world to see. The video was viewed over 1 million times and over 2,500 comments were made on the post. Ethan’s parents have watched the video over and over again and have read the comments made. This has absolutely tormented them in the past week. It is hard enough to lose a loved one in any capacity, but to have such a public display has negatively affected the grieving process for this family.
The morning of Ethan’s accident he slept in for work. He absolutely loved his job and did not want to disappoint anyone. He made the decision to speed to work, what he didn’t realize is that he was actually speeding to heaven that morning.
There is a saying, Just 5 More Minutes, that saying has never rung more true. The amount of times Michelle, John and Leo have wished for just 5 more minutes with Ethan. What a difference 5 minutes would make.
This fundraiser is to also raise awareness of the dangers of the Kitscoty intersection ( Highway 16 and 897 ) So many families have lost loved ones at that corner, countless lives have been forever changed in an instant.
August 14, 2025 one life was lost and many others are left traumatized and reeling in grief.
Thank you in advance for any assistance you can provide, any donation will be greatly appreciated, if you are unable to donate please share this post on behalf of Ethan’s family. Please hug your loved ones tight, tomorrow is never promised. Stay kind!
