As friends and family of the Moores’, we wanted to share what they are going through and ask for your help.
On Thursday, June 18, 2020, Ethan Moores was with his twin brother at his first job orientation since graduating High School, when he began feeling physically ill. He was complaining of a severe headache and loss of feeling in his left arm. His mom, Traci, picked him up and took him into the ER. They ordered a CT scan and discovered a mass in his brain. He was then taken by ambulance to Harborview Medical Center where he is currently being monitored.
The scan shows a golf ball-sized tumor on the right side of his brain. It is in a tricky spot that affects the motor skills on the left side of his body. Unfortunately, the tumor cannot be removed until they can get the swelling under control. He has been put on steroids and they hope to do the surgery in 2-3 days. He will likely be in recovery for 5-7 days after that.
We feel for Traci, and her struggle to provide as a single mom during this scary time. We know many of you do too and want a way to help. Relieving some of the financial burden, along with prayers for Ethan, is what she really needs right now. With the current pandemic, we know times are tough and money is tight, but she would appreciate anything you feel you can contribute. Every bit helps.
