Hello, my name is Breanne. I am Ethan Hunter’s Aunt.
On August 2022, Ethan has been diagnosed with Lymphoblastic Lymphoma T-Cell Leukemia, one week before his 15th birthday. Ethan has gone through several biopsies, surgeries and daily chemo treatments. Ethan went into remission December 2022 but has been continuing chemo treatment for the last year. He then was able to go back to school a couple days a week, trying to get his life back in order, while continuing to do treatment, with dead bones.
We have recently received the news that Ethan is no longer in remission and has a fight on his hands.
His cancer is so rare they don’t know how else to treat him. And extremely rare that he has relapsed.
When he started he had 23% of his body of cancer. He’s now 52%
They are going to hit him with everything they can with chemo at the highest dosage for 4-6 weeks. If they can’t get him in remission, he has 2 months left to live.
If they get him in remission, he will need a 10/10 bone marrow match
And he will be in Toronto for 3 months-12 months in isolation.
And then still only has 20% survival rate
His siblings are the best chance for the bone marrow match, however they only have a 20% or less rate of matching
Shara is going to need funds for travel, parking, hotels, food, medical supplies, and possibly funeral costs. Shara has not been working since 2022 as she has dedicated her time in the hospital to be with Ethan.
Please help my family if you can
