Ethan is ready to compete against some of the best riders in the world, on some of the toughest tracks on the planet.
In summary, the funds raised will go toward:
- Purchasing a Downhill Bike
- Covering the travel and accommodation costs of getting overseas
- Covering the gear and maintenance cost of the bike during the season

Ethan has been recognized by the Downhill Mountainbike Racing community as a rider with huge potential. He has not yet had the opportunity to compete abroad, and yet, at only 16, he has successfully raced against riders with international experience.
At present, Ethan is only able to compete in local races in South Africa, on bikes that he funds through his small business initiatives, which includes building bike ramps and assisting at the local bike park.
We would like to raise sufficient funds so that Ethan would not only be able to compete with the best of the best, but also be able to afford the necessary equipment to keep him safe on the track.
The Downhill World Cup is being held in Fort William, Scotland in August 2023. Ethan has earned his place as a competitor...let's help him get there!!
