Hi, my name is Ethan Guest.

I'm 13 years old, and I'm chasing my dream of becoming a Formula 1 driver.

I started karting at 10 years old at Midland Karting in Lichfield. From that very first session, I knew this was what I wanted to do with my life.

Now, three years later, I'm a national champion competing at the highest level of UK karting - but I need your help to complete my 2026 season.

2025: THE YEAR THAT CHANGED EVERYTHING

In 2025, I competed in three national championships and achieved results I never dreamed possible:

• Club100 North - Champion (56 drivers)

• Club100 South - Vice Champion (87 drivers)

• Daniel Ricciardo Series - P3 Overall (46 drivers)

I was also featured on BBC News, BBC Midlands Today, and Motorsport News, and I've built an incredible community of over 50,000 followers across social media who follow my journey.

In total, I've completed 72 competitive races with 46 podium finishes and 8 championship season podiums since I started racing in April 2023.

2026: THE BIG STEP - JUNIOR ROTAX OWNER KART

This year, I made the jump from arrive-and-drive karting to Junior Rotax Owner Kart racing - the pathway that Lewis Hamilton, Lando Norris, and George Russell all took to Formula 1.

I'm racing with Jack Dex Racing, one of the top teams in the UK, and competing across 20 race weekends at two championship series:

• Shenington Kart Championship (10 rounds)

• Trent Valley Championship at PF International (10 rounds)

• British Championship rounds (planned for later in the season)

This is a HUGE step up. I'm racing against 13-16-year-olds with years more experience, massive budgets, and factory support. But I'm learning every single weekend, getting faster, and proving I belong at this level.

WHY I NEED YOUR SUPPORT

Junior Rotax is expensive. Really expensive.

Each race weekend costs approximately £1,800, which includes:

- Race entry fees

- Circuit fees

- Mechanic support

- Fuel and tyres

- Transport

- Consumables

On top of that, there's a £5000 purchase cost for the kart itself plus any damage

A growing list of sponsors & my family have funded the season so far, but we still need approx £15,000 to complete the remaining race weekends through to the end of the season in December 2026.

Without this funding, I won't be able to finish the championship seasons I've started, and I'll miss critical development opportunities that could define my racing future.

Every single penny donated goes directly towards:

**THE REALITY OF GRASSROOTS MOTORSPORT**

I wake up at 6am on race weekends. I train 4x per week at Martin Gethins Boxing Gym. I spend hours on my sim rig studying racing lines and data. I balance Year 9 schoolwork with a 30+ hour weekly training commitment.

This isn't glamorous. It's hard work, sacrifice, and dedication.

But when I'm on track, racing wheel-to-wheel with the best young drivers in the UK, none of that matters. This is what I was born to do.

WHY THIS MATTERS

Junior Rotax is the stepping stone to British Championships, European Championships, and ultimately, the pathway to Formula 1.

Every weekend I race, I'm:

- Learning racecraft against experienced drivers

- Building data and experience

- Getting noticed by scouts and teams

- Proving I have what it takes

But without funding, that journey stops here.
