Hello, my name is Ian Newell, and I’m organizing this fundraiser on behalf of my closest friend, Ethan Viele, and his family.

On Friday, September 12, 2025, Ethan tragically passed away in a motorcycle accident at just 19 years old. It’s hard to put into words how much he meant to me and so many others. Ethan was an incredible friend; his kindness, silly humor, and endless energy touched everyone who knew him. His passing has left a huge hole in our lives.

During this heartbreaking time, I want to do what I can to support Ethan’s family by helping to cover the costs of his funeral and memorial services.
