Get Ethan Baty to the Barcelona Int. Waterpolo Academy

Hi, my name is Michael and I am raising funds on behalf of Ethan Baty, my son. Having represented the Eastern Gauteng u13 waterpolo A team in 2020, 2021 and 2022, Ethan switched to Central Gauteng and represeted the u14A team in 2023 and the u15A team in 2024.

In the season ending Schools Waterpolo Interprovincial Waterpolo Tournament held in Dec each year, Central Gauteng u14A and 15A have won the bronze medal match in both years, with Western Province A running out gold medal winners, and KZN getting the Silver.

Elevate Waterpolo Academy is a high performance academy in South Africa, that brings senior coaching staff from the Barcelona International Waterpolo Academy to the country to impart knowledge and grow our skill levels. Elevate Waterpolo Academy across various age groups also selects a high performance team(s) to participate in various European club competitions in Spain in association with Barcelona Intenational Waterpolo Acedemy (BIWPA).

Ethan Baty, now an u16 athlete has been selected to represent the Elevate high performance u16 waterpolo team, to travel to Barcelona, spend a week at the BIWPA acedemy, and then a week at the BIWPA Summer Cup Tournament in Lloret De Mar.

Whilst this is a mammoth achievement for Ethan personally and just reward for the hard work and many hours he puts into his training, a tour of this nature including visas, flights, food and accomodation is challenging. I am asking if there is anyone who would love to assist a young boy reach his dream of being selected into national high performance team and travel with the team to Europe?

Thank you - I really appreciate that youve taken the time to read and possibly contributed towards making my dream come true. This opportunity will not be wasted - leading up to, and whilst there, I will train as hard as I can and put my skills to the best use for myself and my team.

I really hope that on this trip I get to meet the player that impresses me the most in World Waterpolo, Alvaro Granados. He is involved in the Barcelona International Waterpolo Academy, but do not know if he will be there in the week that I am also there.
