Instead of rejoicing with family and celebrating Christmas this year, the DuVall's woke up to fire and rescue informing them that the creek water was rising quickly. They had to quickly pack all of their Christmas and valuables up and pray that the water didn't get too high. Paige and her husband Jim tried to stay close to their home in their RV on higher ground but woke up the next morning to see that the water was relentless and was trying to take that home away too. Thankfully a national guard truck came to rescue them. As of now this family has no idea what all they have lost. Their house is almost completely submerged.
