Our dear friend in El Salvador, Adriana, is a hardworking, kind woman who is deeply devoted to her family. For many years, she lovingly and responsibly cared for her father, who lived his entire life with a delicate health condition and needed a valve in his brain due to a brain tumor. Her grandmother also always lived with them, since Adri’s mother is an only child. Adriana was always by their side, supporting them through every stage, helping them along with her mother, and becoming one of the pillars of her household. The financial burden was high and the care they required kept increasing, but Adri was always at the forefront supporting them in every way, even though the expenses were greater than her income.

A few years ago, Adriana went through one of the most difficult moments of her life: first her grandmother passed away and, just three months later, her beloved father also passed away. It was a double loss that left an enormous void in her family.

Since then, Adriana and her mother have continued moving forward with effort and dignity. However, today they are facing a very difficult situation. The cemetery where their loved ones rest has notified them that, now that seven years have passed since their deaths, they must purchase the burial niches in perpetuity so that their remains can continue to stay there.

The cost of each plot is $2,500 USD, and for both they need $5,000 USD. Unfortunately, if they are unable to gather this amount, the cemetery will proceed with removing their relatives’ remains.

That is why we are creating this campaign: to help Adriana and her mother give her father and grandmother the eternal and dignified rest they deserve.

Nuestra querida amiga en El Salvador, Adriana, es una mujer trabajadora, noble y profundamente dedicada a su familia. Durante muchos años cuidó con amor y responsabilidad a su papá, quien vivió toda su vida con una condición de salud delicada y necesitaba una válvula en el cerebro, debido a un tumor cerebral. Su abuelita vivió siempre con ellos ya que la mamá de Adri es hija única. Adriana estuvo siempre a su lado, acompañándolos en cada etapa, apoyándolos junto a su mamá y convirtiéndose en uno de los pilares de su hogar. La carga económica era alta y los cuidados necesarios eran cada vez mayores pero Adri siempre estuvo al frente apoyándoles en todo, a pesar de que los gastos eran mayores a sus ingresos.

Hace algunos años, Adriana vivió uno de los momentos más difíciles de su vida: primero falleció su abuelita y, apenas tres meses después, también falleció su amado padre. Fue una pérdida doble que dejó un vacío enorme en su familia.

Desde entonces, Adriana y su mamá han seguido adelante con esfuerzo y dignidad. Sin embargo, hoy enfrentan una situación muy difícil. El cementerio donde descansan sus seres queridos les ha notificado que, al cumplirse siete años desde su fallecimiento, deben adquirir los nichos a perpetuidad para que sus restos puedan permanecer allí.

El costo de cada nicho es de **$2,500 usd**, y para ambos se necesitan **$5,000 usd**. Lamentablemente, si no logran reunir esta cantidad, el cementerio procederá a retirar los restos de sus familiares.

Por eso estamos creando esta campaña: para ayudar a Adriana y a su mamá a darles a su papá y a su abuelita el descanso eterno y digno que merecen.
