Asalamalakim I am deeply saddened by the tragic event that took place on an innocent and beautiful young girl Kanwal Matloob of Kathar, district Dadyal. Kanwal was on her way to the shops to purchase some things for school and she never returned home. The police searched along with the members of the village and the public from surrounding areas. It was only until 25 days later her body was found, the killer was caught.

 

Kanwal left this duniya (world) in a very very heartbreaking way. She was raped, stoned and her head was knifed and acid was thrown on her. Kanwal’s father died when she was very young. She was the youngest sibling. She had her whole future ahead of her. Kanwal’s family are very poor she has one brother and her mother’s health is not the greatest.

 

I kindly request whatever you can afford to give they would be very grateful. This money would help towards necessities such as food, clothing, medicines, better shelter. In this hadith, the Prophet (ﷺ) makes an analogy of the believers with one body. “The believers in their mutual kindness, compassion and sympathy are just like one body. When one of the limbs suffers, the whole body responds to it with wakefulness and fever” [al-Bukhari and Muslim].

 

This money raised will directly be given to the family of Kanwal Matloob via their bank account. I pray Allah gives justice to her family. I pray Allah grants them sabar through this immensely difficult time. I pray her killer is never set free to do such a thing to another sister or daughter. I also pray that Allah protects our children & family from such tragedies and sorrow. Ameen
