Scotts Fundraiser
Donation protected
I'm doing a small fundraiser for my friends son Scott Normyle.
Last week this families lives were turned upside down when they learned that Scott had leukaemia. Scott is 9 years old and from from Mallow.
Last week after tests confirmed that Scott had leukaemia he was sent to the Mercy hospital Cork and transfered to Crumlin childrens hospital in Dublin that evening.
Laura and her partner Kevin are by his bedside since and he is receiving life saving treatment, chemotherapy. This will be a long and hard road for this family, so we are reaching out to ask for some small donations just to take a little of the pressure off Scott's parents at this time.
The little things like tea and coffee's, parking, travel to Dublin, eating, running the house at home, shopping in Dublin, taxis to shops or public transport etc are all adding up, and living in another city so far away from loved ones who could rally around better if closer is very hard.
Also the uncertainty of being away from work for Scotts dad Kevin and for how long is an enormous pressure on top of the pressure of a very sick child.
Scott is a pupil at St Patrick's National School Mallow and enjoys soccer and is a massive Liverpool football fan.
Please donate a small amount if you can or if not please say a prayer for Scott that he will recover soon and get back to all the things he loves best like his sports, friends, family and he has 2 older sisters Stacey and Natasha, also has a brother Shane who is looking down from heaven his beloved dogs Millie and Bailey who are all in the care of family in Cork.
please God Scott will be home soon and can continue his care at home but will need to travel regularly to Crumlin also.
Thank you so much for everyone's support and love. It is so comforting and will keep spirits up.
