Hi, my name is Leo, and I’m a 4½-year-old golden retriever. I was recently diagnosed with an aggressive form of cancer.
Just a few weeks ago, I was my usual happy, playful self — going on long walks, eating my favorite treats, and cuddling with my family. Then suddenly, I became very tired, constantly thirsty, and lost my appetite. My parents rushed me to the vet, where I stayed in the hospital for days hooked up to IVs and machines. Despite many tests and biopsies, the doctors still don’t know exactly what kind of cancer I have — only that it’s spreading fast.
Now, I’m back in the hospital, separated from my family for long hours each day while the doctors work to find answers. My parents are doing everything they can, but the medical bills are already overwhelming.
If you can, please consider donating to help us afford further testing and treatment — and give me a fighting chance to stay a little longer with the people who love me most.
Any amount helps. ❤️
Thank you for helping me keep wagging my tail a little longer.
