Hello Everyone!
My name is Steven Black and I’m needing help from you wonderful people! A year ago, I took my beautiful black lab named Midnight, who is 12 years old, to Vetco Veterinary Hospital. She had two lumps, one on her back and one on her left hip. They surgically removed each lump but left the holes wide open. They told me that they would close on their own and that I need to keep them clean. Well, since then, growths and bubbled skin have grown over the holes and have turned into what another vet diagnosed as skin cancer. They cause her so much pain from constantly bleeding and oozing. I clean them and wrap them every day, but they continue to get worse. I’m in need of help to have them surgically removed. She has started walking with a curved body because they hurt her so much. The cost of the surgery is $4,000, which I don’t have. I’ve been a foster for dogs for many years and have 5 other dogs myself that I’ve adopted from shelters that were hours away from them being put to sleep. Please help Midnight from being in pain 24 hours a day from this horrible cancer. Anything you can donate would be appreciated!
