The AT&T family and friends are coming together to support one of our own.

Our friend and peer Rodney Estupinan and his wife Polett received some devastating news a while back - Polett had brain cancer and the battle to beat this aggressive incurable disease began. It has been a long and arduous journey for their entire family.

Unfortunately their courageous fight is coming to an end. Polett is in the final stages of this terrible disease. Her medical team has given her between two weeks and a few months to live.

Our friend and peer Rodney Estupinan is taking the Family Medical Leave Act (FMLA) to spend what little time is left with his beautiful wife Polett. Hospice is helping Polett to be as comfortable as possible in their home, while the family gathers around to spend as much time with her as possible. FMLA leave is unpaid and his medical insurance has covered a lot of the Polett’s expenses but not all, leaving him under a mountain of debt.   

Many can attest to the generous nature of Rodney. His positive attitude, enthusiasm for life and how time and again he jumped in to help others when the chips are down. We are thankful for the opportunity to return the favor and help him and his family navigate the most difficult journey of their lives.

So it is with much humility and gratitude we ask for financial help. However big or small the donation, as Rodney and his family spend the last bit of time with Polett. Every penny of the GoFundMe proceeds will be spent helping Rodney with the mountain of debt incurred by this horrible disease.
