Esther's Road to Recovery
The new year has brought quite a few surprises our way. On January 2nd my mother, Esther, took her motorcycle for a quick trip to the store. A truck in oncoming traffic collided with her when the driver took a left without yielding. Esther was in the hospital for a month, and for now it seems she has about a year's recovery ahead of her. Although she has several broken bones, the most severe injuries are to her left leg. Her broken collarbone makes using crutches very painful, so she has a while until she will be up and moving again. Currently, Esther is working on her physical therapy at home and striving to gain her strength back. Although we have been rich in luck and in company, there are definitely expenses for a situation like ours. Any contribution is greatly appreciated! We will be keeping everyone updated, thank you!
