Esther's car accident recovery fund

Hi, my name is Jessica and I'm fundraising for my friend Esther Bain. On December 1, 2023 Esther was in a bad car accident and her car is likely totaled. It was a high speed collision where neither driver saw the other so neither driver breaked causing Esther to feel the full impact. Her car was hit twice. Esther suffered a concussion, head injury, severe whiplash, sprained wrist and ankle, contusions and is banged up. These injuries have resulted in Esther missing work with no set return date. It is anticipated Esther will be out of work anywhere between two to eight weeks. Esther is not able to manage day to day activities and is feeling an emotional impact from this incident. This accident has caused an immense financial hardship for Esther. Funds donated will be allocated to her deductible, any unpaid leave from work, supplement workers' comp benefits which only payout 2/3 of her income, rental car for approximately one to two or more months, out of pocket medical expenses (beyond what is covered) and she may end owing more than what her insurance company pays out which would result in her owing money on a totaled car.
