My name is Esther, and I’m running for Miss New York USA 2026!!

If you know me, you know that this is a massive step out of my comfort zone, and I am excited to push myself in the competition for Miss New York USA this July.

I’ve always had a love for media, and as a kid growing up without cable, a hunger for access. I devoured magazines and talk show segments, and grew up to become a PR professional and self-taught media aficionado.

Being a late-90’s baby, I’ve gotten a front row seat to the massive changes in the media industry within this era. And while I embrace the shift that social media has brought, I find it crucial to support this change with media literacy education.

I’ve used my voice in media in so many different ways, from PR to blogging to hosting an event series, along with my latest endeavor, applying to journalism schools for my masters. I am so passionate about this industry. Passionate about media for all ages, from young people getting to learn from quality media sources to connecting with my elders in new and exciting ways. And most of all, I am passionate about using my voice to help guide our attention toward worthy artists, academics, and activists, doing the work on the ground for positive change within our communities.

The money I raise will go towards pageant prep, such as outfits, coaching, and additional prep expenses, as well as my sponsorship fee. This campaign is by the community, for the community, and your support will make all the difference.
