Esther and Ainsly Robertson Fire Disaster Support
Donation protected
I started this page for my sister Esther Robertson, and the Robertson Family.
Esther, along with her husband Rob, and their three sons, rented a home in Altadena on Harriet St. They have lived there for at least 13-14 years, raised their sons there, and established themselves in the community there. Esther, by her nature, is very active in the community - from PTA and part-time teacher at Odyssey Charter School, Boy Scouts, AYSO, sports teams, fundraisers, community events - you name it, she has been involved.
Harriet Street, from Fair Oaks all the way to Lincoln, is a total loss - everything burned except by the grace of God four little cottages on the corner of Harriet and Lincoln. One of those was the Robertson house, protected, we say, by the angels of our mother and grandmother, and the universal protective energy manifested by Esther's powerful Reiki that created a bubble over them. Even though the house still stands, everything inside was a total loss due to water, smoke, and ash damage.
As renters, they don't have the house fire insurance that most homeowners have that will replace lost items or cover temporary housing. It will be unknown for a long time if the house, while standing, is structurally safe, if it will be habitable again, or what the owner will decide to do.
Throughout this disaster, Esther has been on the phone with various organizations obtaining information and sharing this with other impacted families and across social media. She has helped organize a donation drive to help displaced families who ran from the fire with so little and lost everything else. As always, she considers herself blessed and focuses her attention on helping others.
The Robertsons didn't want a GoFundMe. They see the devastation and know there are so many out there in the same or worse situation, so many that need help. But the fact remains the Robertson family need help too. Everyone is safe and alive, which is the most important thing. And, they have temporary housing. But they still need to live day-to-day and eventually replace everything they lost - without insurance resources - to start afresh.
All donations will go directly to the Robertsons for this purpose. We appreciate all donations, including prayers and hugs. God is good, and karma is returned to all those that help and serve others.
