Estelle's Surgery Recovery Fund

Howdy y'all!
My name is Estelle and I'm a Jewish trans woman who works in the field of drug/alcohol recovery and homelessness outreach in Philly, and after years of struggle I've finally found myself on the precipice of this liberating and terrifying surgery! I've successfully pulled together everything I need, except of course a job that provides short term disability or paid medical leave. Which is why I am here asking for your help.
I am so so grateful to be at this place in life, but unfortunately all of my savings are going towards this surgery since it's a bit more expensive than I had planned, and I need help covering my living expenses for the two months where I won't be able to work. This surgery is absolutely necessary and life-saving and I cannot survive without it, I'll be getting it regardless of how this campaign goes, and I need your help to make sure that my recovery goes smoothly and safely instead of dauntingly. The surgery is in seven weeks and I cannot think of any other way to get this money together in such a short amount of time, especially while living paycheck to paycheck already.
I need $1,120 for rent and $700 for food to make sure I don't starve or fuck over my roommates, but anything over that amount would be indescribably comforting. Any money left over by the time I return to work will be either donated to other funds or returned. I would ideally like to pay y'all back once I have an income again so please don't donate anonymously so I can reach out to do so once that's possible.
Thank you so much for taking the time to read this! I'm excited and terrified but I have hope that the communities I'm in will be able to help. I hope you have a nice day regardless of if you can help or not!
