Hello, Streacker family here to talk about our mom.
Long story short, our mom needs some financial help getting through the next couple of months of recovery. She hasn't been able to work, and she has gotten some amazing support from the many people in her life already, but the journey has been prolonged so much so that more is needed. Our mom is a business-owner, a pianist, a teacher, and a kind-hearted person. One of her dreams when she grows up has always been to start an orphanage. When she gave birth to the fourth of her sons, it was almost like she did open that orphanage.
Our mom can be seen here, pictured caring for one of her four rowdy boys.
That's probably Yvon, her youngest, and he was probably getting ready to cry. He was a colicky baby, and he used to do that a lot. Come to think of it, he still does that a lot. Some things don't change, huh? Wanna see a better one?
That's us. I don't think my mom has gotten a nap in 30 years.
She wanted to be close to her kids, so she homeschooled us all right up until high school. She taught us, took care of us, and played piano for us every night.
Now as an Abuelita, she helps take care of our little Arlo. She calls her "EE-ta!"
Our mom made it her mission to help people during her lifetime here on earth. She spent the last 20 years teaching kids life lessons through her taekwondo school in Plainfield, IL.
And, oh yeah, she still knows how to party!!
She's sober, you'll just have to take our word on this one
And all that work culminated in her greatest works of art! Her proudest pieces! Her four sons! All of us more than the sum of what we do, but varied in our passions in ways worth mentioning:
A Soldier
A Performer
An Artist
And a Fighter
And now her fight begins. Well, it's in medias res. And it was three or four times longer than projected - which is why we need your help. Consider donating to help us take care of our momma and start to return all the care she placed into us. Consider sharing to spread the word that we need help. Our mom has touched so many lives, and we know it will all come back to her, we just need to get the word out.
Thanks everyone. We can't do this without your help. Thank you.
