On August 14, 2022 our lovely mother Estela Salazar gained her wings and went to be with the Lord. A year and a half ago she started her battle with severe rapid dementia. She fought long and hard to stay with us for as long as she could. Estela was someone who you could always count on. She took pride in being the best Mother, Grandma, Sister, and Friend she could be. She dedicated her life to helping others in any way she possibly could. We will always remember her for her resilience and strength. Even through the adversity she remained faithful and sweet. We will deeply miss her.

Towards the end of our mother’s life she required 24/7 care which did not allow us much time to get anything planned for her passing. If it is in your heart and ability to donate, we would greatly appreciate it. Thank you in advance!

El 14 de agosto de 2022 nuestra querida madre Estela Salazar ganó sus alas y partió para estar con el Señor. Hace un año y medio comenzó su batalla contra la demencia rápida severa. Luchó mucho y duro para quedarse con nosotros todo el tiempo que pudo. Estela era alguien con quien siempre se podía contar. Se enorgullecía de ser la mejor madre, abuela, hermana y amiga que podía ser. Dedicó su vida a ayudar a los demás en todo lo que pudo. Siempre la recordaremos por su resiliencia y fortaleza. Incluso a través de la adversidad se mantuvo fiel y dulce. La extrañaremos profundamente.

Hacia el final de la vida de nuestra madre, requirió atención las 24 horas, los 7 días de la semana, lo que no nos permitió mucho tiempo para planificar nada para su fallecimiento. Si está en su corazón y capacidad para donar, lo agradeceríamos mucho. ¡Gracias de antemano!
