Hello, my name is Ian, and I am fundraising for my mother, Estela. Mom fell sick about 2-3 months ago while in the Philippines. When she could not afford the medical expenses in the Philippines, she looked to my brother Eric to help fly them back to the US so her insurance could cover some of the costs. Mom and Papa arrived in Las Vegas on June 17th, and we immediately took mom to the hospital. The next day, June 18th, 2022, on her 70th birthday, the doctors confirmed she had cancer. Since then, our family has been through many emotions we have never felt before. Our family is devastated by mom's loss, but we know her wishes and are thankful for all she has done. Unfortunately, we have encountered unexpected expenses that will be required to fulfill some of mom's wishes. Therefore, we do not expect this fundraiser to meet the goal, but we will appreciate anything and everything, just like my mom would. Thank you.
