My beloved grandmother Estela Margarita Toirac (known to most simply as Margarita!) passed away on July 14, 2022, leaving a gaping hole in our family. Her light was taken from us suddenly, and we've been left to figure out how to properly honor a woman who meant so much to so many. We've chosen to Celebrate her life via a special gathering of friends and loved ones on Monday, August 22 at Repertorio Español in New York City.

While we're happy to have secured a time and place to celebrate her, her after-life expenses have fallen squarely on us, her surviving relatives, to cover- at a time when that's no easy task.

She'll be laid to rest in a niche beside her beloved daughter Elizabeth at the Green-Wood Ceremony in Brooklyn.
