Esteban Jimenez Celebration of Life
Donation protected
This amazing person has not had a normal teenage life. Esteban Jimenez was diagnosed with Osteosarcoma (bone cancer) in his left knee in June 2014 at the age of 15. Undergoing surgery in September which resulted in replacing the knee and the femur with a metal rod. Unfortunately in a very short 3 months after surgery, the cancer had spread to his lungs, ribs, pelvis, and spine.
Esteban then went through a change of chemo and had been doing very well until what was thought to be working was now affecting his kidneys. He was told by doctors he needed a break and be under close observation. As 2 months passed, sadly things began to get worse. They had found tumors in his spine that were affecting his ability to walk and was rushed into emergency surgery . With two spinal surgeries done in a span of a week, the doctors said there was nothing more they could do. So as of November 14th 2015, the family have decided to take Esteban home to be surrounded by as much love as humanly possible and live life a teenager. He is now awaiting for another chemo treatment to undergo after Thanksgiving.
We are trying to raise the money for him and his family. To help with medical costs. He has always mantained a BEAUTIFUL smile through all of this and we know with each donation, this will bring joy and comfort to him and everyone around him.
We thank every single one of you for your love, faith, and support through all of this. Every cent counts and means the absolute world to us. We have full faith that Esteban will recover! Please pray for Esteban. Miracles do happen. God Bless. #teamesteban
