Hi, I’m Esteban Guzman-Santiago. At my heaviest, I weighed 365 lbs. After years of hard work, I’ve brought my weight down to 217 lbs—but I’m still fighting a battle that most people don’t see.

Growing up, I was bullied constantly because of my size. Even now, after losing the weight, I get stared at or judged because of the excess skin I carry. It affects my confidence, my health, and my day-to-day life.

This loose skin causes physical discomfort and makes it hard to feel truly proud of the progress I’ve made. Skin removal surgery would not only improve my quality of life—it would help me feel like I’ve finally crossed the finish line of this journey.

Unfortunately, the surgery isn’t covered by insurance, and I can’t afford it alone.
