Luong and I met in 2014 in Pittsburgh, PA. At the time we were both studying to get our PhD. After graduating we moved together to San Francisco, CA where we have been living together for the past 2 years. I asked Luong to marry me in a few days before Thanksgiving in November 2018.
We are excited to start a new life together and start a family. Going on a nice honeymoon will be a great opportunity for us to bond as a couple and dream about the life that awaits us. Since we have been living together for the past few years, we stuffed our tiny apartment full with every home comfort and furnishing imaginable. For that reason I would like to ask that if you desire to give a gift, please donate to our honeymoon trip as that will bring us the greatest joy. Of course if you would prefer to give an alternate, physical, gift for us from your heart and would like to bring that to the ceremony instead, all gifts big or small will be lovingly and thankfully accepted.  
I am excited to go to Oahu in Hawaii because I would like to take Luong  snorkeling to see the fish that swim in the water there. I think it would be a fun activity and a good bonding experience for us. I have selected a vacation package from Costco.com with a nice view of the ocean. It includes flights, hotel, and some money for meals.
