We are the Corner Brook Islamic Center (CBIC). With a growing Muslim population on the West Coast, there is no mosque for the over 600 Muslims in Corner Brook and no such facility within a 500km radius. The Muslim community resorts to praying at various places, including a chapel, a multifaith room, a shop, and a seniors club.

But Alhamdulilah, we have a unique opportunity now to purchase a church and convert it into a Masjid. We've teamed up with the Sabeel Muslim Youth and Community Center to fundraise for this great cause and have now raised 300,000 Canadian dollars. We now need 60,000 Canadian dollars to reach our target, and we have until mid-September, 2025, to raise this amount.
