Hi, my name is Rebecca and I'm speaking on behalf of my cousin Emily. Emily is a beautiful and happy 14-year-old girl. She has overcome many struggles in her life that have made the very basic things in life a challenge for her. The diagnosis list is extensive but the purpose of this page is to help establish long-term medical care for Miss Emily as she recently and suddenly lost her father, John C. Ammann Jr. on January 8, 2023. She has since then and continues to be hospitalized at University Hospital San Antonio, Texas in the Pediatric ICU, having been diagnosed with acute life threatening illnesses atop her multiple and severe existing medical conditions of epilepsy, CP, and many more which have rendered her total dependency for care. Her family is working to establish a Special Needs Trust for Emily. The trust is itself the beneficiary of this Gofundme account and all monies raised will go directly into that account to help with Emily's lifetime cost of long-term medical care in her home and will help to ensure she will be able to remain in her home thereby eliminating the only other option of institutionalization.
