Our dear friend Esther is a busy working mum of 3. She has an awe inspiring lust for life, a huge capacity for joy and Grade 3 Invasive Ductal Cancer, currently consisting of a lump on her left breast (let’s call it Nora) and a lump in her left armpit (Phyllis). Esther has been offered conventional chemotherapy and a lumpectomy, then reconstructive surgery later on as part of her treatment plan, but as a lifelong advocate of progressive and alternative therapies she is keen to pursue a more ground-breaking approach.
She is researching and practising various proactive self help and complimentary treatments to boost her immune system and help her fight this life threatening disease. Esthers dream is to kick Phyllis and Nora into touch by way of surgery then embark on a course of Immunotherapy Cancer Research- Immunotherapy as clinical trials suggest that this innovative treatment supports the body to fight cancer long after the treatment ends. She hopes to be able to share the experience through regular blog updates and through social media with others who might also wish to pursue this pathway to recovery.
As a group of her close friends we want Esther's children to grow up being loved by and having fun with their amazing mum and therefore we are organising various events to raise funds to help with the costs of these treatments , but we will need a considerable amount to see her through.
So we need you to help us support and cure this fantastic woman and help spread the message that there are alternatives to chemotherapy.
