We are collecting donations in Essy's name to continue his legacy in education, Architecture, and in his care for others.

Donations will be used to form a prize fund to support students in Architecture, most likely in the form of a grant to support international students. Throughout his life and work, Essy worked with tireless energy to extend the reach of architectural education and to foster educational collaboration and exchange around the world.

A portion of the donations will go to the palliative care ward at Shatin Hospital, where Essy spent the last 8 months of his life, being lovingly cared for by the amazing team there. The donation would fund research into patient care and dignity, which he and the 4B team were working on together until his final days.
