Essie Mauck-Taylor
Donation protected
UPDATE: Hello everyone. I just wanted to update everyone with Essie's memorial link from Mariposa Gardens.
Also, we all wanted to thank everyone for sharing/donating/ and sending condolences to everyone.
It is with deep heartache that I have to write this for a dear friend and loved one.
My name is Stacie Burns-Maldonado, and I am raising money to help our beloved friend Essie Mauck/Taylor's family through this trying time.
Their beloved daughter, sister, granddaughter and aunt.
Essie passed away suddenly in a tragic car accident on August 1st, 2023 in Mesa, AZ. She had just turned 36 on July 9th.
We still do not have the full details surrounding the accident. Her family and friends are devastated by the unexpected loss.
Essie had an energetic spirit and a smile that could light up any room accompanied by a laugh that would instantly bring a smile to your face.
She was a lifelong bartender and waitress who was so passionate about the service industry. Although she held many different positions throughout the years, however being a server was her happy place. She loved working with people and brightening their day in any way she could. Essie’s employers and co-workers loved her as well as Essie’s customers, who adored her. She had a devoted following of customers that would go wherever she was working. She once told me that given the choice of any job in the world, she would be a server because it made her feel like she was able to make a difference in someone’s life just by talking and listening to them.
To know Essie was to love her she was smart, funny, quick-witted and a person that everyone wanted to call a friend. The loss of such an amazing person will be felt immensely throughout our community and the service industry.
Her friends are setting up this GoFundMe to assist her family with her funeral costs as well as any money that could help alleviate her family's financial burdens at this time. Her down-to-earth parents Scott and Esther Taylor would never ask anyone for a penny. They are hard-working people that have always provided for themselves and their families. Unfortunately, they never planned for a tragedy of this magnitude to occur and they do not have the funds to take care of the financial costs associated with end-of-life services.
As a bartender and waitress myself I know our community truly takes care of its own.
So I am asking everyone if you could please find it in your heart to donate whatever you can.
Any donations will be helpful and very much appreciated. If you are unable to donate please be kind enough to share this post to help her family.
We thank you from the bottom of our hearts. Once we have more information regarding her services we will post that here and on social media as well.
Thank you in advance for any donations.
Essie will forever live on in our hearts and memories. She will always be loved, but never forgotten. She will be deeply missed by everyone that knew her.
Rest easy Essie I hope you look down and are proud of the immense impact you had on so many lives. We love love you always and forever.
