Help fight Essex knife crime

Tax deductible
In 2021 alone, Essex was at the epicentre of 18 murder investigations - many of those, fatal stabbings.

Each and every time someone dies as a result of knife crime, a family’s life is changed beyond recognition and a community is left reeling in the wake of tragedy.

In the aftermath, there is often a sense of hopelessness and despair. And yet, there is a small army of volunteers and loved ones who are dedicating their every waking minute to stop this epidemic.

One of those groups is Take A Knife to Save A Life, who are working tirelessly to get kids off the streets and create safe, flourishing spaces for them to not only educate them against the dangers of county lines and knife crime, but create opportunities for them to grow and learn.

In a bid to stop knife crime across our county, EssexLive has set up a fundraiser for TAKSAL in the hope that they can help make our communities safer places for our children.

This issue isn’t going to be a quick fix - but we have to do something and we have to do it together.

Whatever you can give, however small, please share what you can to help TAKSAL and fight knife crime in Essex.
