Hello,

My name is Raven Rankine, and I am of Jamaican descent, currently living in the United States. As many of you know, Jamaica has been severely impacted by the recent hurricane—particularly across the parishes of St. Elizabeth, Manchester, St. Ann, and Westmoreland.

I am heartbroken watching my country and our people suffer. Families have lost everything. Homes have been destroyed. Many lack access to shelter, clean water, food, and other basic essentials required to survive and recover.

In response, I will be traveling to Jamaica for several weeks to support relief efforts on the ground. The catastrophe is too great for the government to manage alone—this is a moment that calls for all hands and hearts to come together.

During my time in Jamaica, I will be helping provide essential resources, including temporary/permanent shelter and basic furnishings such as mattresses, beds, stoves, and refrigerators for families in need.
