Last night, our mom’s house, our childhood home, was devastated by a fire. The flames tore through several rooms, and what wasn’t burned has been severely damaged by smoke and water. This house wasn’t just a home, it was a place where so many memories were made, not just for us, but for many of you as well. It breaks our hearts to see it in this condition and to face the loss of so many irreplaceable, sentimental belongings. We are incredibly thankful to God that mom was able to get out safely with her dog, Spock. That alone is a blessing we don’t take for granted.

Unfortunately, the house is currently uninhabitable. We’re still waiting on more details about the extent of the damage and whether it’s considered a total loss, but what we do know is that mom lost almost everything.
