I'm reaching out to my community for help after Hurricane Helene devastated my home in September 2025.

First, I would like to thank all of you who were there at the beginning. Many of you reached out and provided not only financial support but also your time by helping me clean out the house after the storm. I am forever grateful to all of you!! I am asking for more assistance because although my insurance covered most of the structural damages, it unfortunately didn't cover essential items inside the house, such as appliances, furniture, and bedding. At the moment, my credit cards are maxed out, and I'm left trying to rebuild everything with limited resources, financially and physically.

The hurricane destroyed many essential appliances, including my refrigerator, A/C unit, washer and dryer, and left me without basic furniture and bedding. On top of that, a few repairs outside the house need to be completed to ensure it's safe and habitable.

While my insurance helped with structural repairs of the house, it did not cover the cost of replacing items destroyed by the 2-foot water surge that flooded the inside of the house. I've exhausted all of my options, and I'm now asking for assistance from friends, family, and kind-hearted strangers who want to make a difference. Any donation—big or small—will help me replace what was lost and finish repairing my home.

The funds will go toward purchasing new appliances, including a mini-split A/C unit, refrigerator, washer and dryer, replacing furniture, bedding, and completing necessary exterior repairs to make my home safe again.

I am incredibly grateful for any support you can provide during this difficult time. Every dollar brings me one step closer to recovery and rebuilding my home.
